About Frontier Business Design

Frontier builds operating-plan methodology for founder-led service businesses. The Client Operating Plan is a Clarity product that creates the foundation for Alignment and Execution — so a company stops managing its future from scattered notes, spreadsheets, and disconnected conversations.

Our principles

The owner authors the plan

The application facilitates rather than silently making decisions. Existing valid planning work is imported, not recreated.

Start with actual known conditions

Allow unknown values. Never fabricate financial or operating numbers. Never present invented company information as fact.

Distinguish drafts from approved decisions

Built does not mean owned. Approvals are explicit, and a change record is required for material scope or ownership changes.

One accountable owner per outcome

No more than three initial quarterly outcomes. Ownership is a person, not a committee, and never silently changed.

Weekly execution updates the record

The weekly review updates the operating records saved in your browser — not a generated recap of what you already knew.

Preserve what was deferred

A permanent deferral register with reasons and review dates. Deferred items never auto-promote into active priorities.

Source methodology

The platform follows the Frontier Business Design Client Operating Plan, the quarterly operating-plan facilitator guidance, and the 90-Day Outcomes methodology. The operating sequence — Clarity → Alignment → Execution → Scale — is the source of truth for every rule in the product.
